Uncomfortable with being taken out

It’s been well over a year since a guy has taken me out. My ex didn’t take me on one date out entire 8 months together. Never brought me anything either. Me and this guy have been dating and we are supposed to go out today for lunch. We hang out a lot but this will be our first official date. It makes me so uncomfortable with him paying. I start to over think about it because I’m not used to it but it makes me VERY uncomfortable and I’m trying to be okay with it.

How can I stop freaking out about this?
