Am I in labor?!

I’m 39 and 5 days, I had a slight membrane sweep Tuesday and lost my mucous plug Thursday up until today. I just started having a lot of pressure and back pain. The pain is tolerable and lasts about 25-30 secs and it’s quite close in minutes apart. But it’s not a lot of pain like I was expecting. So I’m not sure if it’s false labor or not. I can take the pain so I’m not sure if it’s actual contractions or I just have a high tolerance. It’s mostly in my back. They’re a few minutes apart. I’m going to wait and see if they get stronger and then give my midwives a call.

Update!!!! This is labor and holy cowwwww this shit hurts so freaking baddd!!! I am currently clearing my bowels for the second time and then I’m taking a shower and headed to the hospital!!! I was planning on a natural birth but this pain is so intense!!!! 😩😩😩😩 I already want an epidural but I will still try to go natural. I am in so much pain I’m actually shaking or shivering.

Update!!! Contractions are 2-3 mins apart and I’m only 2.5 to 3 dilated. Can’t imagine and don’t want to imagine anything worse then what I’m

Feeling right now. It’s insane how bad it hurts.
