Waiting 2 months for my IUD apt...

So my 6w pp apt was scheduled for Nov 7th where we decided I would use an IUD for contraception. They told me to make an apt 2 weeks out so they would have defiently received it. Well, the closest I could get was 3 weeks out - Nov 27th. Fine. They called me the day before this apt and told me they hadn't received it so I would have to reschedule. The next available apt was for Jan 2nd, so I took it. But how effing ridiculous is it that I have to wait this long. It's really pissing me off. Two months for birth control. Come on is this 1950..
