You accidentally misgender someone you just met, calling them the gender they look as though they are, when they actually consider themselves a different gender. They get immediately pissed and angrily tell you the gender they consider themself to be and call you rude and ignorant for assuming their gender.

Actually roll my eyes and tell them to calm down. If you look like a certain gender, you should know that there's going to be people who assume you're that gender, especially considering there are more cis males and females than anything today. Just calmly correct the person, there's no need to throw a hissy fit.

Depends.  If I feel bad because I misread signals, then I woukd apologize.  But if you look like a dude then how should I know?  Unless you advertise you cannot expect people to read your mind.
I am definitely an outward roll of the eyes, tell them they will be a-okay, and if they cannot accept that, then they can go kick rocks.
But id you do it on purpose, or miss something obvious, then you may feek bad.
