In need of opinions

My husband and I had a big fight before he left for a week for work. He’s an audio engineer and does sound for concerts and live shows. He left his wedding ring at home because he was so angry he’d taken it off.

He worked an EDM cruise (basically lots of people dressed not at all modestly and lots of drugs and casual sex). When I asked him if anything had happened on the cruise (I just have this gut feeling that maybe he cheated but he never has before), he told me no, but only because he was so busy working. I believe him, because I know the kind of hours he works on these cruises but honestly I don’t know how to react to this or take it.

His ex cheated on him and it utterly broke him (they had 3 kids together) so I’ve always been confident he would never do that to me because of how it shattered him. But Idk, it feels harder to trust that he wouldn’t cheat on me because of what he said.

We are going to see a marriage counselor after the new year but idk I just need some thoughts or feedback? I don’t know what I need lol

EDIT: he wasn’t joking when he said it, unfortunately. He was still pretty mad and was serious.

Idk if this has any relevance but I am also 19 weeks pregnant with our first child, his 4th
