Am I Overreacting?

I went to my parents, when I was leaving town I called my bf and said I was coming home. I get home, the doors locked. Okay, weird. So I call him (5 times to be exact) and each time he doesn’t answer. I bang on the door. No answer. It’s 47 degrees & I have a baby. I’m livid at this point. I climb back in the car, get my heater back on and start trying another place to stay because it’s 9 PM. He opens the door 20 minutes later. He’s fully dressed. I asked what he was doing he said in the shower. Even if he was in the shower he always takes his phone with him & our shower is a walk in & has no door & the pressure sucks so there’s no way he didn’t hear his phone. His hair is dry, which shows me he wasn’t in the shower. Plus he got off work 2 hours ago. He takes a shower everyday as soon as he gets home from work, so why he decided to wait 2 hours today is beyond me. When I asked him why he waited 2 hours he said ‘I was watching a movie’ so I asked what movie and he said ‘I was watching paw patrol’ like whatever 🙄 and then when I called him out for lying he changed his story and said he was watching YouTube videos. Oh and he said he laid in our bed and watched them but our bed is exactly how I left it before i left (toys still on it, blanket in exact spot) plus he smells like diesel after work and our bed doesn’t smell like it. That smell lingers, it’s why he no longer takes my Chrysler to work because it stinks my car up and it’s nearly impossible to get out so I know it would be on my bed. Oh and he was trying to convince me to stay with my friend tonight and last minute I changed my mind and decided to come home.

Idk why he would lie but my gut says he’s lying. He’s not cheated from what I know, but he’s always looking his ex’s up on fb and stuff (he’s says that doesn’t mean anything) and when we first got together he told me he was 22, later on i found out he was 20. He’s always lying about small stupid shit. I don’t think I’m in the wrong for not believing him now. Opinions and advice ladies?
