2 years and 5 months

So I have two children I already posted my birth story but wanted to share this. My children were born exactly 2 years and 5 months apart. My first pregnancy went really well it seemed very easy and quick no complications or anything. When I went into labor I was not really prepared I hadn’t packed my hospital bag yet or preregistered at the hospital yet. With my first pregnancy my water broke but I never dialated past 1 cm on my own so I had to be given pitocin to move my delivery along. At 3am in June 28th of 2016 my first born baby boy arrived. Now my second pregnancy did not seem as easy as the first it felt more like a wild roller coaster ride. I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes with my second pregnancy which for someone my size( I am a very tiny petite person) seemed really odd to my doctor. This time around I wanted to be more prepared so I made sure I was preregistered and my hospital bag was packed early. I went into labor but not knowing really how contractions felt bc I hadn’t felt them the first time around didn’t know at first that I was in labor. I went to doctor got checked out by on call doctor and was told I was having contractions and was told I was 2 to 3 centimeters but that I could go home if I wanted and relax and come back if anything changed. I thought it was odd I was being sent home but went anyways. About 20pm I called doctor again said they felt stronger so we went to hospital I was checked in and when they checked me said I was between 3 to 4 centimeters. After monitoring me for an hour it was decided I was staying at hospital that night and so I was hooked up to iv line. It was different for me this time bc I was actually having contractions and dilating on my own. On November 28th at 4:59am my second child a little girl was born. Well sorry for the long post but that’s my story on how my kids were born exactly 2 years and 5 months apart. P.S. both my children came early and this was not planned just how things worked out.
