Chemical pregnancy?

Hey everyone! So I had what was called a chemical pregnancy. I got a positive pregnancy test on the 1st day of my missed period. Then two days later I decided to retest with hubby  after I told him. We got 3 negative test!! Monday I Went  to the dr and they tested my blood, I was pregnant but my hcg levels were low. I then started cramping/bleeding that day and I bled for 5 days. They retested my blood a week later and said it was negative and that I had a chemical pregnancy. I’ve had two healthy pregnancies prior to this. I’ve never even heard of this before. Just very sad cause hubby and I were trying. Has anyone else experienced  this?

Aw I’m sorry to hear that! That must be so tough! I did a little research and it says that 75% of pregnancy result in chemical pregnancy within the first week of pregnancy. So a lot of people don’t even know they’re pregnant they just think it was a heavy period. So strange I’ve never heard of it before. They said I didn’t have to wait to try again cause it was so early. I was just 4 weeks.

I’ve had numerous chemicals and a miscarriage at 6 weeks 5days, I’ve never had a healthy pregnancy, I have a problem with my chromosomes and was told that when the egg starts to develop if the chromosomes don’t work right it will stop or sometimes the egg just fails to implant it’s sad I know and hard to cope with, it’s why I’ve stopped testing for pregnancy until I’ve properly missed my period by like a week
