Need advice on dating

I’m getting SO frustrated with dating. I’m 24 and never had a boyfriend. I have absolutely no guy friends that can introduce me to other guys, which sounds pathetic but its true. I’ve never had a boyfriend in high school cause I was shy and never went out because my parents were crazy and over protective. But I’m an adult now and would love to share my life with someone. My friends also are pretty much all single except maybe 2 and their boyfriends friends aren’t really my type. I also tried dating apps and literally everyone just ghosts me. I’m not about playing games I just want the real thing.

Honestly this is so pathetic. I’ve never needed a man to define me and I’ve ALWAYS done my own thing. I even went to prom on my own bc no one asked me lmao but I actually had the best time. Anyway the point is, I’m tired of people saying “just wait, you’ll find someone” “be patient, it will happen when you least except it” well guess what? I’ve been waiting my whole damn life. I’m done waiting. I’m tired of my friends just meeting guy after guy and going through boyfriend after boyfriend like it’s nothing. Meanwhile im over here just wanting to on a date. My friends don’t get it ether, they say I’m funny, and at least a 7 out of 10 lol
