Should I be worried about a std ?

I haven't really had sex before but my boyfriend tried going in me a few times. The last time he did was about almost a month ago. Everything was fine. Right before my period which just ended I ended up with a uti! I took whatever my doctor gave me for it. I noticed red bumps that itch a lot on only the left inside of vagina. This started around the same time of my uti.  I don't know if it's from me shaving. I asked him about stds! We've been together for about 2 years and I trust him enough so I know he hasn't been sleeping around. Plus I performed oral sex on him .  I don't know if I should be worried about an ate ! I just ende my period and I have like brown light discharge.
