How to get rid of baby fever?

How do you get it off my mind? My SO isn't ready for a few years and it's killing me.. I'm so ready to be a mother to be a fiancé!! It won't happen for another few years and I don't know how much longer the wait I can put up with! I'm going to stick with him because I love him but God isn't it hard:( I need to get it off my mind it's emotionally draining and knowing I won't have it? Even worse.. Making goals for myself will not help. Just thinking of my family I will have and getting engaged is all I can think about but my SO isn't ready.

Write out a baby bucket list.  Write out everything you and your SO want to have done before you settle and have babies.  This way as you get each thing accomplished you cross it off and know you are one step closer to baby.

Volenteer at a nursery in the infant room.... Or at a orphanage / group home for infants.

What I did was let myself have a day. Plan a few things, for example I want my best friend to make a baby blanket and I looked at patterns and picked a few. I looked at nursery room ideas and so on. Made a folder for ideas. It helped a lot. Then the next day I put it away and I felt better. I also told my bf I needed a baby and planning day to get this out of my head. I really talked her ear off that day but it worked!!!! I don't feel so crazy and when I do get the fever I take another day. Maybe it might work for you too. Good luck

I'm going through the same exact thing right now! If he's not ready, then you can't pressure him or he will be miserable. What I think you need to do, since this is helping me, you should find other things to look forward to. Plan something out that will take your mind off of a baby and  whatever it is that you want to do. I'm putting my mind on planning to save and prepare for a trip in the next couple years. I want to go to Las Vegas, so it's giving me something else to think about. Hope this helps!

Find something to bury your self into...like a hobby or project. Something to take up space in your mind

I've posted earlier about the subject and just want to know how to try to put it away and try to make myself happier! Just the thought of him not wanting it right now even makes me so emotional that I start to cry!! So pathetic I know but I respect his wishes and need to move on for now.
