What were YOUR symptoms of PPD?

I’m trying to figure out if I have it (I believe I do), but before I reach out for help, I want to know what other people’s symptoms were. I want to hear real peoples stories, rather than just listening to google. Did you experience them everyday? Or just off and on? Please if you are comfortable enough sharing, I would really appreciate it. Thank you in advance ☺️

I feel very frustrated, irritated and anxious. When my baby cries it wears on me a lot because I’m barely able to hold it together as it is. I feel hopeless, like this won’t get any better. I’m scared to be a mom. I’m scared I’m not a good enough mom. Sometimes I feel like my daughter would be better off without me. Thoughts of self-harm. Crying for “no reason”. Panic attacks in public at slight inconveniences. I’m scared of feeling this way. I have been to a psychiatric health facility twice for severe PPD, I’ve spent 7 days total in facilities like this, and I’m on meds. People tell me I’m not alone, that it’s a common thing to experience, and I know that, but it doesn’t help you feel any better. Praying for you ❤️
