First time

Me and my boyfriend have been trying to have sex, but he just won’t fit. Even two fingers is painful. I feel like something is wrong with me. I’ve heard that when girls loose their virginity it hurts and I expect that but he can’t ever get it in so I feel like it will never happen. I’m okay with waiting I’m just scared that something is wrong with me. He’s not pressuring me or anything and I’m super comfortable with him so I don’t think it’s that. My cherry has already popped so I think that means my hymen is loose? So what is the deal? Has anyone else had this problem and/or have any tips?
