Am I being petty?

Question

My SO’s family keeps in touch with his ex, and they talk about her when I’m with them. It makes me really f*cking (I cant stress it enough) uncomfortable. We’ve been together for over 2 years and I’ve hung out with them many times, but they talk about her with other family members in front of me. I’ve reached the point where I’m refusing to stay with his family for more than a couple of hours. 
How would y’all feel? Am I being ridiculous? Should I suck it up?

Either they don’t like you, or they honestly don’t give a shit about you. If they had any decency, they would wait to talk about her when you are not there. And why in God’s name are they still in touch with her?

The family has obviously formed a friendship with her and just because they broke up, doesn't mean that the family can't be in contact or friends with her anymore... People Are allowed to be friends beyond you.
If they are talking about her..... She's doing this and doing that, Etc, then you are being selfish.
 If they are saying when x and x dated, they did this and then they did that etc. That is wrong and by all means.. You should discuss your concerns with them.
Tell them that it makes you feel uncomfortable.
If you don't have that kind if relationship then ask you bf to do it for you.

How are you being petty 😐 THEY are the ones being petty. They would’ve had two times to mention his raggedy ex and wouldn’t have seen me at another family gathering. First time I would’ve ignored it (depending on what was said). Second time I would’ve said with a bright smile “that’s a shame they didn’t work out” and left. If you haven’t addressed it with your bf—please do so BUT I wouldn’t fool with them bc they’re being rude. He’s moved on and so should they

My friend’s bf’s family is the same exact way. His mom even kept a photo collage of the two of them together up on the piano while my friend was already moved in (he lives with his mom to help her pay for her place and my friend moved in). After a year or two of being together I think she finally took that down, but I’m pretty sure she still talks about her and it’s because they all loved her and thought they were going to get married. I know my friend hated it obviously, but I don’t think she ever said anything other than to her bf.

Yes and no. I mean who cares as long as he’s not really about her. She may be close with his family. I totally get it been there done that.
