virginity/condom/ birth control

okay soo basically i’m still a virgin and i’m 18, my bf is 22 and i’m ready to have sex with him, i’ve been thinking about it for a while and i never let him do it but now i’m ready (and he’s done it with multiple different girls before) but i’m not on birth control, and i’m definitely going to make him wear a condom but i’m still slightly worried that i could get pregnant just because so many people i know are getting pregnant recently (i don’t think they’re using protection tho) but i’m just scared a little lol does anyone have advice? :))
