No period since iud.

I got the Paraguard iud a little over a month ago and I haven’t gotten my period yet. I was spotting for a while and it would fluctuate from light to heavy but then stopped and I haven’t been spotting for a little over a week. I’m just wondering if this is normal?? I also woke up this morning and my nipples look super weird idk if this could be a sign of pregnancy or not. When I went for the iud insertion they tested me and it was negative but I’m just curious if I don’t get my period by the end of next week I’ll be taking a test
