Brown spotting

I’ve had brown spotting for about 10 days now and im scared i will have a miscarriage. I went to the ER on xmas eve and they did an ultrasound and checked my hcg. There was an empty sac and my hcg was about 2,500. Im almost 5 weeks now. Has anyone been through something similar?
