TTC after 1 live birth and 3 miscarriages

Anastasia

Hi y'all!

We are very fortunate - we've got pregnant with our daughter in 2014 after few months of trying, and I had a wonderful (though at times a lot of nausea and pain, of course) pregnancy and delivery.

We always wanted to have kids with a small age gap, so started trying early - when our daughter was 9 months old the first time - miscarriage at almost 6 weeks; then again we tried when she was 1.5 y.o.- no heartbeat at 11 weeks ultrasound (stopped growing at 8 weeks), then the last time our daughter was 2.5, miscarriage at 4 weeks. We decided to take a break for a while - so it's been a year since then, and we feel like we are ready to try again - we really would love our daughter to have a sibling!

During this time I checked my health thoroughly: reproductive endocrinologist found no issues with thyroids, no hormonal issues; I had anemia and have been drinking iron religiously for 5 months now - my ferritin is 52 in the range of 10-150 ng/ml (it used to be 5(!!) In August)

My husband has Ulcerative colitis, and has been on flare, but he's been feeling much better lately, and he expressed desire to try.

With all our heart we want to have another child. Lately I've been very calm and relaxed (we came to live to Thailand for winter), but last 2 days got slightly anxious with the thought of trying this cycle.

I was ready emotionally, but somehow little anxiousness came in.

3 miscarriages and my husband's autoimmune disease, I guess, cause this nervousness. Any words of wisdom or experience would be appropriated. Baby dust to you all, ladies!
