New Vibrator - Need Secrecy Tips!

So I turned 18 about 2 weeks ago. I was like I’ve always been curious about vibrators. I’m not sexually active and plan in saving that for marriage, but that didn’t keep me from being curious. Anyway, I live with my parents and I was like how the heck am I gonna make sure they won’t hear it. I turned it on to see how loud it would be and it kind of sounds like a tooth brush. Any tips on what I can do to muffle the sound? Thanks ladies!
