31 weeks on Wednesday, ftm. Baby is very low. Worried

Hi everyone, happy new year! - on Christmas day I passed a small amount of mucus and on December 27th I spotted after sex, we haven't had sex since. I have an ectroprian cervix and it's the first time I've had any bleeding since my haemorrhage healed at 9 weeks. Last night walking home from work I felt so much pressure below my belly button. Today, sitting at my desk it feels like a ball or a round part of baby is even lower, in my pelvic region. Is it safe for baby to be low this early? I don't have a scan until January 7th and I don't really know what to think. It's making me anxious.
