My baby was born at 34 weeks and the social worker let me know his meconium rested positive for marijuana. I let her know I didn’t use but I was around heavy second hand smoke for a period of time due to my social circle. She stated that she had to let CPS know since it was positive but kept saying how since it’s TN she doubts a case would be opened and that they may not even call me since it’s just marijuana but my nerves are on 100 and I need a little reassurance. Any other mommies had this happen in TN, or another state? what’s the process? I DONT WANNA LOSE MY BABY!!! I know my pee is clean now to pass a drug test but I need to know that I won’t lose my baby!!!!!!!!
