Asthma attack

TMI .. Last night i had the BG's (bubble guts), while I was using the rest room my asthma just flared up out of nowhere. So I hurried and ran to my Bf, he told me to calm down even though i tried my hardest to calm down. I had no asthma medication at his house so I told him to call the ambulance but he refused and kept telling me just to breath and try laying back down ( All because he was sleep ) .. I ended up manging to get my breathing down. The next day my chest is currently hurting. I am now home and took my meds. Its just my chest still hurts. Should I go into the ER to get oxygen?
