Year after exercise saved me.
A year ago, everyone thought I was perfect. I was skinny and so I HAD to be healthy and have everything together. Well that was wrong. I was skinny because I lost 20lbs by not eating. My anxiety and depression was so bad I could barely leave my house or eat a meal, yet everyone was going on and on about how amazing I looked and how I didn’t need to do anything for myself because I was already skinny. After about 8 months of being miserable I said enough is enough and I stepped into my crossfit gym for the first time. I may be more “bulky” now but I LOVE it. I learned that the number on the scale isn’t the only thing in life that matters. I work hard to look how I do, lift the way I do and I am finally truly HEALTHY. The gym saved me in more ways than I could have ever imagined. Now I am a coach who helps support others through their health journey.
Sometimes people put so much value on being skinny, they don’t realize that it isn’t always healthy. So anyone who is on a journey to being healthy, whether thats weigh loss, gain, muscle gain, strength, I am here for you, and you got this!!
