Cesarean or VBAC?

My husband and I own a restaurant. July is our busiest month (great timing for a baby right?! 🤦🏼‍♀️). I’m eligible for VBAC but since DH will be working 80-100 hours/week I’m leaning toward another c-section just so I can have him there for the birth and get childcare lined up for my two ear old. Is this stupid? The recovery from my c-section before SUCKED, but I’m totally stressing about the unpredictability of just letting things happen. 😖 What would you do?

I would try for the vbac if it were me and I was eligible. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I feel like everything will work out and you’ll recover much more quickly. Do what works for you.

Not stupid at all. I have been told a repeat c section is a lot easier than the first especially if the first wasn’t planned. I’m leaning towards another c section bc I don’t want to go through trying a VBAC and my kid get stuck again and be rushed back.

I think it depends on the reason you had a csection the first time. But if doc said you’re eligible for a vbac, sounds like you have i really good chance of it being successful. 
I have had 2 vaginal birth and even though my first was a bit hard, its so worth it and I felt 100% myself right away. Plus they say the second baby comes out a lot easier and I definitely agree with that. My second labor was 4 and a half hours from water breaking to baby being born. My first was 16h from water breaking to birth and 2 hours of pushing. I only pushed 2 times with my second

My husband and I also own a restaurant and am due in July with twins. My husband won’t be around much, so in my personal opinion I would try for a VBAC just because with a cesarean it seems like you are a little more restricted while you are recovering. So it might make it easier on you if you are going to be without help.
