Concerned?

I went in for my first ultrasound at 5w6days. We saw the gestational sac and the yolk sac but no baby. The Doctor said I am more like 4.5 weeks along rather than 6 weeks. 
She said not to worry because scans this early don’t show us much and the same happened to her and she has two healthy kids. I have another ultrasound in 3 weeks. Can anyone offer any insight or reassurance? Thanks. A bit sad.

they usually cant see much of the baby until 8 weeks since its so small! dont worry too much!

Try not to worry. I had my first ultrasound at 6 weeks and was only able to see the gestational sac and yolk sac. We went back at 8 weeks and there was a sweet little baby and a healthy heart beat ♥️

Hi Angela! Don’t worry, it is absolutely normal. This is exactly what happened with me. I had my first at 5 weeks and could not yet see the baby, we went back at week 8 and saw the beautiful little bean and heard the hearthbeat. Try to relax and think positive thoughts, it is there just very little ☺️.
