Epilepsy and Birth Control

Hi, so I started depo in mid December because my gynecologist said it was the best birth control for me to be on regarding my seizures, but since then I’ve been googling how effective it is in correlation with epilepsy medication and I’ve been finding some mixed results. I was wondering if anyone here was epileptic and used depo and could tell me about their experience? I would really appreciate it.
