Baby moving?

I am a first time mom and i dont know what a baby moving should feel like. I’m 17weeks today and a lot of moms say its like flutters. Does it feel like being nervous and you have butterflies in your stomach? And how do you know youre feeling them? Because i think i do feel them but i dont know if its just my head making me feel them.

The best analogy I heard for early baby kicks was “it feels like when you are holding a goldfish in a plastic bag and the goldfish taps against the side of the bag.” Early baby kicks feel just like that, little taps. I first felt baby kick at 17 weeks which everyone said was too early to feel it as a first time mom but I kept feeling it and by 20 weeks I absolutely knew it was the baby.

I can't remember how far a long I was with my last pregnancy but it's was early maybe 13 weeks maybe it felt like a vibration I thought it was weird and maybe gas but it kept happening at the same time every night when I was about 18w I felt him kick. This pregnancy in 10w tomorrow and I keep feeling something that could be movement but to faint to say for sure

I’m 19 weeks and I felt the “quickening” but what it feels like when he moves is gas bubbles, or little pokes or thuds.

I didn’t feel any quickening! Just kicks/pops around 19 weeks!

I felt my baby exactly at 19 weeks 
Have you ever been in a pool and someone pushes the water down forcefully and it feels like bubbles.... that exactly what I felt. 
I knew it was the baby because it was beyond different. It caught me off guard. My husband also felt him that night.
