Two babies?

Light back story

My husband and I have always wanted 2 children. We had our first this past June, he's almost 7 months old. Our plan was to start trying for another when he turned 7 months. We wanted them close.

Flash forward to him being 7 months old, I'm loving being a mommy. I was born for this. I don't want anything else in the world my life is absolutely complete.

As soon as we brought him home, I no longer wanted a second child. No reason. My birth wasn't traumatic. He's probably the easiest baby alive. I just don't have a longing for a second child. He's more than I could have ever asked for.

My question is: Has this happened to anyone else? Did your feelings change after you became pregnant again?

Also, if you have 2 under 2 do you feel like you slighted them in some way, of their babyhood? Or slighted yourself because you couldn't take everything in?

Is 2 under 2 a mistake?
