Kidney pain?

For my pee test at my 12 wk appt the dr says I had early signs of a uti but didn't prescribe any antibiotics. I'm 16w now and Monday I had such bad back pain on my right side I went to the ER because my dr wouldn't see me til my regular appt on Friday and I felt I had a kidney infection at this point. It's Wednesday now and the pain is back and even worse. The ER gave me macrobid and a pain medication and I felt ok yesterday but this pain woke me up this morning and ive been in tears since. I'm seeing my dr at 3 but I don't know what to do until then!! Has anyone went thru this? I'm thinking kidney stones maybe??
