Am I his girlfriend?

This guy and I have been talking for about 5 months and we talk every day. We met at the beginning of college and hang out during the week and I’ve stayed over at his dorm a few times. During the week we also go out to eat and run errands together. Now during break he stoped at my house on his way back home and met my parents and he stayed at my house. He lives 5 hours away and now he’s home but since he’s been there he FaceTimes me everyday. He asked me to come to his house over New Years and I went there on the 1st and stayed two nights and met his entire family. He tells me he likes me a lot and acts like he’s my boyfriend and tells his friends I’m his girl, but he’s never talked about us being official. Are we dating or is this just a friends with benefits type of thing?
