He is here!

Ma

Pierce Calvert Moon - Born on 1/3/19 at 10:08pm after a grueling 43 hours of labor. Weighed in at 7.9 pounds, almost 21 inches long. I was in my 39th week of pregnancy the day he was born, and went into labor at 38 weeks, 6 days. Pierce was facing up, and had his head turned towards my left hip. Labor stalled at 3cm on 1/2/19, but I continued having steady and painful contractions for the entire day and night. After over 24 hours of steady contractions 3 minutes apart, when offered pitocin and an epidural, I said YES PLEASE. Still, labor stalled again at 7cm until a doctor came in and inserted her entire hand (OUCH!) into my vagina and turned him. Dilated to a 10 within 40 minutes and it was go time.

I'm so in love with this fat face❤
