advice please!!

ok so, there’s this guy that goes to my school. I think he’s super cute and really want to hang out/get to know him.

The thing is, we haven’t really talked since elementary school, and we don’t have any classes together. He’s a senior, and I’m a junior, so I really wanna shoot my shot before he goes to college and I lose my chances.

How do I go for it even though we don’t talk without being too forward/weird lol.
