When to have conversations about last name?

Obviously me and my boyfriend aren’t married and I’m only 5w 5d when should I bring up who’s last name the baby will have? When I’m further along? When we find out the gender?

If you're planning marriage, might as well give the baby the dad's last name, the dad's last name is what baby's usually get anyway

Whenever you want. We decided on the name before marriage because we had to decide if either of us were going to change our names. Note: neither of us changed our names and the child will not have his last name.

That's a decision you'll both have to make together. I don't see what being married or not being married has anything to do with it since he's still your boyfriend and the father of your child.
