How much sex is too much?.

So, this evening, approximately 3 minutes ago, my boyfriend of not very super long made me aware of that he doesnt want us to have sex constantly. Which I understand completely. Guess the honeymoon phase is over? Anyway, I'm more posting today to ask if I should be worried. I know it's normal, but we've only had sex 3 times, over the  nearly 3 months we've been seeing eachother (we have conflicting schedules and Wednesday is out only day to hang out together). 3 times, that's it. I know it's probably nothing to worry about, because I'm not ugly, and I'm very caring, but could he be not so into me? Or are we probably fine? I was just under the impression that teenagers were more sexually motivated than people in their thirties or so. I'm 18, and so is my boyfriend, but I'm more interested in sex than he is.. am I fucked up?

3 times over 3 months??? Hmmm... unpopular opinion here but that seems very fishy to me. Especially for an 18 year old boy. I would be concerned too. But please don’t think there’s something wrong with you bc you think about sex more than he does. Him having such a low sex drive (or whatever is going on) is the issue here. Maybe you guys just aren’t compatible in that area and that’s ok too! Just decide what’s a deal breaker for you or what you can work with.

That’s weird to me but everyone is different. Maybe he’s just not a very sexual person. Which is something you need to ask yourself if you can live with having different sex drives. When my husband and I were at 3 months we were still having sex 2-3 times a day. Lol we were in the honeymoon phase until like a year or so.  Now we’ve been married 5.5 years and together for 8 with 2 kids and have sex like 2-3 times a week.  Every couple is different though. It’s so early, if you aren’t satisfied then move on. Maybe he really isn’t that interested in you? Maybe he’s gay but in denial? Could be anything...tell him how you feel, if you want more sex.

He may just not want you to think he’s all about sex. 
He also may have a low sex drive.
Lots of things could be possible. 
I would just talk to him about it and find out exactly why he doesn’t want to.

To me it seems like if you’ve only had sex 3 times within 3 months, what is there to slow down on? But, he might just not be a sexual person. And since this is a new relationship, he might just want to get to know you better before continuing sex. So who’s knows. Just talk to him about it and see why he wants to slow down. Open communication is important in a relationship.

My boyfriend and I had a similar conversation because we think we have sex too much! 😂 When we are together, which is like 3-4 days of the week, we have sex 3 times a day.  We are both 22 and have been together for 3 months. I thought most people did it around 3 times a day.
