We have been trying to get pregnant for 3 years and it finally happened!! We got our first positive about a week ago! We have our first appointment next Tuesday but will only be 5 weeks 5 days. Should I reschedule it for that Thursday when we will be 6 weeks?? She doctor suggested we come in at 6 weeks but the lady made the appointment a few days soon. Does it matter? Suggestion? I just wanna be able to see something!

I actually had and ultrasound done at 5w4d!

My first appointment will be mostly paperwork and talking to my midwife about birth preferences and expectations. Afrer that I will be going back at 12 weeks for the first ultrasound. You can ask what will happen at the first visit and maybe that can help you make a decision.

Me personally I would reschedule it. That way you can hear the heartbeat when you go. But if you have anxiety then go ahead and go to ease your mind...lol

I would go at six weeks or a few days after! You should be able to get a heartbeat then :)
