Should I break up with him?

My boyfriend barely texts me or hangs out with me anymore. He’s always busy working and I explained to him I wanted to see him and text him more often, and he blows me off by saying he’ll text faster. But then he doesn’t and I got upset today about it. I tried telling him exactly how I felt and he said that it’s basically my fault we don’t hang out. We’ve been dating for two months, but I’m already tired of his slow texting habits and not getting to hang out as much. He doesn’t seem to show he cares but I really wish we would work out. Please help! If you think I should break up with him what should I say? If you think I should stay with him what should I do to improve our relationship?

Sounds like he is in the stage of his life where he focuses on work quite a bit. Whether that be because he has bills or debts he needs to pay or he’s trying to get promoted, meet goals or whatever. If that’s not where you’re at in life to support that and work with that, and you want more attention from a man, you may want to look for someone in the same stage of life that you are.

Honestly my bf and me made a plan where we only see each other every weekend as we both work we text each other every day from sun up to sun down. The only time we don't text is if we are busy or if we know one or the other is at work or sleeping. We have our separate lives, I have a son and I work as well and he works too. We figured the weekend thing was a good idea so we wouldn't spend so much time together and still have our time to do whatever we need or want during the week

Not saying it’s his fault or yours but if he’s already making you unhappy and you’re only 2 months in, i don’t see a point in staying together

The problem is not you by the way. He should care to make time for you especially if you’re not feeling loved or cared for. We have 24 hours in the day he has no excuse to not text you . If he’s at work he can message you on his breaks or lunch. He could at least say if he’s busy and he won’t be able to text you for awhile it’s common courtesy. You told him how you feel and it seems as if he hasn’t done anything to change. I’d say take a break from him and evaluate what you really want. Is this gonna keep going on? Or is he gonna make time for you?
