Embroidery hoop to hold dress train?

Today at my dress fitting we were trying to figure out how we wanted to tote my dress train around. I don't want a bussel because they snap too easy and they pin all the layers of the dress together and in my personal opinion I like how my dress layers flow and putting a bussel on would ruin that. I don't want to add a ribbon to the skirt because either you would see the underside of the dress or you would see the ribbon hanging while I'm walking down the aisle and I didn't want that. The seamstress at the shop said that it's old fashioned but people used to take embroidery hoops and cover them in white ribbon, stick the train through the hoop and hold the hoop as you would a purse strap. Now I've seen photos of loops and bussels but I can not find any photos of the hoop method, if you have one or can find one please comment it below so I can see it in reality, thank you in advance!!
