My SO and I recently found out that we’re having a BOY!!. It’ll be his first son and he wants him to be a junior!. I’m willing to give the baby his initials, middle and of course his last name but he’s still not satisfied and this is something we’ve discussed BEFORE we found out the sex of the baby. I’ve never really been a big fan or “jrs” but I hate my SO first name, I feel like my unborn should have his own name because he will of course have his own identity like why should he have to walk in the shadows of his dad when he’s his own person. If I name him jr people will eventually call him “Lil or jr ” like I’m trying to meet him half way, one minute he’s okay with him not being a jr then the next minute we arguing about it. I want his approval and I want us to come to an AGREEMENT but he’s so focused on WHAT HE WANTS it’s like he’s not trying to meet me in the middle.!. I’m annoyed 😒. Like what would you ladies do if you were or have been in this situation?
