Post partum period?

I’m 4 weeks post partum and I have,I guess, my first period. It seems different than my usual period and my back aches more than it ever has. I’m just looking to see what everyone else has experienced or if I should be concerned.

Within the 6 weeks it’s not considered a period, just postpartum bleeding. Postpartum bleeding can be off and on during the 6 weeks after birth.

Your period can change after having a baby. Mine used to be really heavy and the cramps were bad, then after I had out oldest they were fewer days and I bled less, after having our second I bled excessively (like I would go through a super tampon every hour), and almost 18 months pp with her they're changing again and are becoming lighter.

I had my period after a month pp with my first and I was EBF too. I was so bummed

Mi e have gotten worse after having kids. They seem to even put after several months when my hormones even out.
