What do you feed your babies?

Question

My daughter is 11 months but still wears 3-6 months clothing so she is very small. What kind of food she I be giving her? She is very independent and only wants to feed herself.

Answer

I would do things high in protein. You can do meats, chicken, turkey, beef, avocados, spaghetti, Alfredo, fruits and veggies, grilled cheese, pancakes, waffles, quesadillas and the list goes on and on. My daughter is pretty small too. She can still fit in 6-9m clothing and she turns 1 at the beginning on the month. We give her whatever we eat and she eats way more than I do lol

Our boy eats everything we do. Make sure to offer plenty of protein and healthy fats. Nut butters, whole fat yogurt/cheeses, avocado, meats, eggs. Gill Rapley (baby led weaning) has good resources for how to offer and prepare a variety of foods.
Have you spoken with your GP about her weight? Some babies are just smaller, no need to worry if she is following the same growth centile.
