Itchy belly

Hi guys I’m 32 weeks pregnant and my lower belly started to itch about a week ago. I’ve recently developed quite a few stretch marks there and it’s there where it itches. Is the itching down to the stretch marks do you think? I’ve read online about a condition called cholestasis that is to do with your liver and can be harmful so now I’m worried! How severe is the itching if you have this condition? I don’t want to ring the midwife if it’s just simple itching from stretchmarks and my growing bump. I’d say my belly only itches in the same area once a day or every other day
