Opinion on what this might have been!
So last night I was cleaning out my garage, I wasn’t lifting anything heavy just reorganizing. I started feeling a lot of pressure in my ribs that radiated to my upper/mid back so I decided to stop and lye down. About 20 minutes later the pain got progressively worst to a point that I was doubled over on the floor crying for my life. Now I have a very high pain tolerance this is my fourth baby and never have I felt this amount of pain. It just felt like something was pulling my ribs apart and the pain in my back was just unbearable. It also hurt when I took a breath so my husband called an ambulance. When they got here they took me over to l&d and checked out baby and everything was fine. They gave me a strong dose of pain reliever and that seemed to help. I kept asking if we can do an ultrasound because it felt like the baby was wedged between my ribs and they said it wasn’t necessary because baby’s vitals were fine. They transferred me to the emergency room because I was not in labor. After all this, the emergency room said I might have pinched a nerve or strained a muscle. This pain was no joke the worst I have ever felt, it did not feel like a strained muscle. I’m pretty sure baby got stuck on my ribs but maybe I’m wrong. The pain is now gone but my ribs still feel sore and bruised. Has anybody ever felt this before? Could this have really just been a nerve or muscle pain? Please help!!!
