Boyfriend fell on belly while pregnant?

I was sitting on the couch with my one dog. My feet were also up on the couch so on was sitting kind of sideways and my dog was laying right beside me. Well one of our other dogs walked by and the dog that was sitting beside me went to attack the dog that walked by. Well my boyfriend went to hold the dog that was sitting beside me down so he could  get in the middle before the dogs stared fighting. Well as he went to hold the dog down he kind of fell on my stomach. Like he didn't full body slam my stomach bug he also feel hard enough that my stomache is still sore from it.. I'm 9 weeks 3 days pregnant.. do you think baby is ok? Should I go get checked?

You're fine :) That early the baby is really well protected. Unless you are seriously injured baby will be fine. That said, if you're concerned always call your doctor. You know your body better than anyone else.

If it was enough to knock the wind out of you, yes get checked. This is what I was told when my toddler did a body slam on me when I was pregnant.

Ugh this must be so stressful, from everything i’ve read it seems the baby is pretty safe at this early stage from any trauma like something hitting your belly, but because you say your stomach still feels sore, i’d say definitely go get it checked out by your ob-gyn even if it’s just to have peace of mind. Personally I feel that baby is well enough protected and low enough that you should be fine. Is it your abdomen that he fell on or your stomach? If stomach, I would think all is well.

At this point in the pregnancy the baby is still tucked in below your pubic bone so unless he broke your pelvis I’m thinking baby should be fine. You could always give a call to your dr and see if they want you to come in and get checked but they probably won’t unless you start bleeding or excessively cramping. Good luck!

Baby is fine but I think the dogs would be best to get rid of if they act like that before baby arrives
