Dating someone who has gone through the hook up phase

I met someone new and we have so much in common and feel like we connect. He has said this himself and says he is interested in dating me. I think one of the issues i just found out is that im having trouble getting past him bringing up that he used to hook up blah blah blah. Ive only had 1 person my previous ex of 4 years so i dont know what hook up culture is like. He's explained to me he's been trying to find someone he can finally settle down with but everyone doesnt want to get into a relationship they just want to hook up he didnt mind the hooking up part etc. I guess to me it's just different and I believe him. How the hell do I get past it i feel like it shouldn't be a big deal. He sent me a song and went on to say "i know this is tmi but ive had sex to this entire album" honestly cringe thats good he has experience but now I start to doubt his sincerity shoot any tips ladies or similiar experiences? I actually like the guy and i dont say that about everyone :/
