Correct way to measure fasting blood sugar?
I'm starting to notice that if I measure it as soon as my eyes open in the morning, I'll get something like 97, which to my doctor would mean I definitely need to go on medication. However, if I wait 30 minutes after waking up (still without eating), I'll get a 93, which to my doctor means everything is absolutely fine. It doesn't seem right that just a 30 minutes or less differentiation on when I take my fasting blood sugar should determine if I have to go on medication.
All my other daily numbers are excellent.
