I’m trying to learn one, because my family speaks it and I have lost my understanding of it over the years. Can anyone give me tips on how to improve??

Tell your family to only speak to you in that language, and try your best to answer in the same language. If you don't know ho to say something, ask them.

I am fluent in English, and I had four years of French in high school, but have forgotten most of it. My husband and I are learning ASL together (sort of - I’m currently teaching him what I know and then we’ll go from there).
