Do you wear your wedding/engagement ring 24/7?

Just curious 😊 my mom RARELY takes hers off and has had her rings for 30 plus years.  They’re not damaged, and they look pristine.  So do we really have to take them off before bed/shower/et cetera?  What do y’all do?

I take mine off when im cooking. I don't need ground beef stuck in its nooks and crannies.  Otherwise I don't really take it off

I take mine off for showering, cooking, cleaning, bed time, lotion, and sometimes when I am washing my hands. I haven’t been able to wear it the past month or so though 😭

I take mine off for showers, dishes, and bed. Last thing I need is to lose a diamond down the drain or get my ring full of dirty food. 😝 And my fingers swell at night and hurt if I leave them on for bed.

We take ours off when we workout and when showering. Sometimes I’ll leave mine off when we are at home on the weekends because my diamond sometimes scratches my LO!

I have had my rings for 7 years now and literally the only time I have ever taken them off was when I had my csection and for a couple weeks after when my hands were so swollen I couldn’t get them on if it tried.  I don’t ever take my rings off, unless I’m getting a prong check at the jewelers. I clean, shower, swim in pools/oceans/ water parks, paint, yardwork, planting my gardens. I have a delicate halo with diamonds down the band and my wedding band is diamond also. I don’t even think twice 🤷🏼‍♀️. We do have an insurance policy on it that covers both if I lost it randomly, breakage of the ring and diamond, or if it is stolen but to be honest it doesn’t even cross my mind.

My engagement ring has large stones so I don’t wear it super often. My wedding band(s) I wear much more often but not as much anymore because I’m terrified it’s going to get stuck on my hand (pregnancy)
