It’s a situation!!...

I am stuck in a situation... what would you do?

So I am very sick! And I am still showing up to work cause I want to get paid, of course! Well there are some people here at work that have the option to work from home when they’re sick and still get paid. I was talking to my coworker and how bad I feel. He had mentioned about I should request a company laptop or remote access from home since everything I do is in the computer and I can easily access it if they gave me remote access. So of course my boss overheard (cause he is nosy like that) so I wanted to email Tommy (Vice President) and see if I could request that option. Well my boss called me in to his office. He straight up told me that he does not want that option for me but that my only two options is to use my PTO (personal time off) which I am saving it for my vacations or take a day with no pay! Which definitely defeats my purpose. What should I do?! The Vice President and my boss are really close and they tell each other everything. So if I email the Vice President behind my boss back I know he will find out and then all hell will break loose! Should I just leave it a lone or should I take action?

I have also proven my worth and not have I once called into work and I have been here for over a year.
