Due in February and wondering what did you dress baby in while in hospital?

I’m thinking of taking some socks, 1 footie one piece and 1 footless one piece, gown, a swaddle blanket or whatever swaddler I buy, hat...am I forgetting anything...? It’s winter around here and will be pretty cold I’m certain...How should I layer him? 
I didn’t take any clothes for my first born lol only the take home outfit and since I had a c section on Monday and didn’t leave hospital until Thursday he was wearing the really ugly hospital baby gown for the 3 days 😅 so this time I really wanna make sure baby is looking cute and trendy from day 1 😆 so yeah any suggestions would be cool and also if you have newborn photos or just your own pics from the day or day after they were born and don’t mind sharing I’d love to see those for ideas! 😍

Honestly I only packed a going home outfit for our son and a swaddle. I’m glad I brought the swaddle bc we used it in his hospital pics. I kept him in the little kimono style shirt the hospital provided. He had an IV his whole hospital stay and they even cut one of the sleeves on the shirt so it wouldn’t get in the way. Plus I was too exhausted to even think about playing dress up with my sweet boy 😩

At my hospital they gave us these long sleeve white tee shirts and he stayed in those and I just swaddled him he wore an outfit the day everyone came and obviously an outfit home

Hospital gave us a T-shirt to keep our son in, so it was that, a diaper, hat and a swaddle

My baby was only 4lbs and puked constantly. I just kept her in the clothes the hospital offered.

Ok so we had a sudden induction at 36 weeks at baby was much smaller than planned. I gave birth Thursday and we didnt leave until Saturday morning. My cousin stopped by a store on her way to visit Friday and got some preemie clothes since hebwas way too small for newborn. But she just got him onesies so we had him in that and just kept him wrapped up. It was cold here but it wasnt as bad as February usually is. So we just used one of the newborn pants and jacket from his diaper bag and a hat.

I only brought an outfit to take them home in both times. They check them so much there’s no point in bringing more. The only thing was for my second, her temp kept dropping so they asked if I could dress her in a sleeper to try to keep her warm.

We weren’t allowed to put personal clothes on baby in the hospital, so he wore the onesie the hospital offered

My daughter was born on February 24th and she just went home in a onesie, which she was drowning in lol, and a hat.

My babe was just in his diaper and hat. We would swaddle him, but no clothes until we left the hospital, 5 days after he was born.
