New baby and taking the dog potty...

Would you leave your sleeping 7 week old to take the dog potty?

My husband just returned to work yesterday and this is my first time having to take care of the dog and our baby... the dog won’t leave me the fuck alone but the baby is asleep and I don’t DARE wake a sleeping baby.

Update: I am in an apartment and have to go down a flight of stairs, but I do have a monitor.

I ended up waiting until the baby was awake and strapped him to me to go outside. I might try just taking the monitor next time 🤷🏼‍♀️
